Who am I?

From forensic accountant to writer. After fifteen years of uncovering fraud, MS forced me to see the world differently. And what I saw wasn’t pretty.

I write about the quiet death of factualism and free thinking, the price of trading freedom for safety, and why the West is sleepwalking into decline. My debut novel Coddled Children explores what happens when equality becomes tyranny and good intentions pave the road to control.

In this Substack, I examine the loss of freedom throughout the West through decline, geopolitics, propaganda and indoctrination, and our willingness to surrender our own agency for safety. I also compare where we stand today with the great civilizations of the past that lost their hegemony.

What I will try to offer you on this Substack is a complete understanding. Most of the news that reaches us today is at most a half-truth, stripped of context and inconvenient facts. Half-truths are excellent weapons for division and polarization, but of little use for finding a way forward. The only remedy for half-truths is the full story, and that is where my articles begin.
